Please add a confirmation message to Ideal Setup button in the race setup. The following situation happend twice to me already:
- Setting the perfect ride setup
- Accidentely clicking the Ideal Setup button for 3 tokens
- Nothing is changed, because I already had the Ideal Setup which means I did pay for nothing.

Asking if I really want to buy the Ideal Setup would solve this.

You will find out that such suggestions get conveniently ignored here as Jack likes to take your tokens.

Yes, I think in the same way...

I have suggested this before:

He doesn't often have the chance to, but Jack checks the Suggestions forum when he has the time.

I have talked to him a little bit about creating a confirmation message about these instances so he has acknowledged that it is a problem, but there are other pressing issues he and the other developers must address.

I asked for this many months ago, I've lost count of the tokens I've wasted by accidentally clicking "Ideal Setup" instead of "Try Setup". I would like to see a confirmation message EVERY TIME you do something which results in spending tokens. Considering the number of occasions this has been requested I'm surprised we haven't got a commitment from the developers to implement such a feature.

This has been ignored for months. What more pressing issues can he have than making sure he doesn't steal paying users' hard earned cash by making them do accidental clicks here and there that cost them tokens? Surely a simple confirmation does not take months development time to add to the game.

Couldn't have said it better.

I am going to add it today. I will be adding confirmation dialogs to everything (ideal setup, engines, parts etc.).

My opinion on this changed in recent months. I used to think it was more convenient to have ideal setup available in one tap if you arrive late and are rushing to do your setup last minute (the typical scenario when you might want it, really). I explained that in the past, but enough people said they hit it accidentally to change my opinion and so I decided this should be added a few weeks back. I was moving country/house at the time though and my thoughts aren't broadcast regarding every single button in iGP, so obviously people had the impression this wasn't on the radar.

Seeing the title of this thread on the recent posts I bumped it up the priority list to do it today. A few hours later (now) I entered the thread, to let you know I'm going to add it, and what I read inside is disheartening. It's annoying to discover a personal insult when you come to agree with someone. It can even look like the insult prompted the post when I was coming to make it anyway. Oh well.. It's being worked on.

Congratulations Jack for the attitude.

I think stealing is a heavy word.

In my opinion, you are not and have never been forced to put a confirmation button. This has always been a suggestion, all we have to do is play carefully.

In my case, I was wrong to think you turned a blind eye, so I'm sorry.

Congratulations on the way you treated the subject and thank you for the update!

This is the first time I see a moderator and a developer giving attention to a forum in the part of the suggestion.
In some other games that I played, I gave suggestions and I saw several suggestions and never saw a moderator or developer, only when someone broke some rule.

Congratulations Jack, try to continue this way!

PS: I'm new in this game.

Moderators usually have zero interaction with developers of a game. Some moderators usually stay quiet until rules are broken.

I don't consider myself a moderator though, I am a player. Jack is actively posting on the forum, though much less lately because the game is growing and I was offered to takeover most aspects of providing support via the forum, facebook and e-mail (and sending Jack internal bug reports/support tickets and troubleshooting problems beyond basic assistance). I wanted to organize the forum better so Jack made me a moderator :D

Blunion is also much more patient and polite than a lot of us grizzled old veterans of the game :)
