Hello there. I have a small question. Is it possible a level 12 manager to buy a level 15 driver?

Or is it possible a level 12 manager to buy a driver level 14. By the way the guy I saw just got level 12 yesterday after the race. I bought a level 15 driver also yesterday 30/8

Andrew. No it should not be possible for a manager to buy a driver or staff member with a higher level than the manager.
Both of your drivers appear to be level 10, its the number in brackets at the end of the star rating. I think you're confusing Talent rating with Level.

No I'm not confusing talent with level. I will send you the data by Pm. And you will see with your own eyes

Thanks Andrew. Yes it does seem very strange, it shouldn't be possible.

You can usually find drivers older than August 2016 that get trained and suddenly jump 3 levels.

Kevin, I think you can understand this because there used to be attributes in old iGP that drivers don't have anymore. Things like Charisma and Work Rate and Wet Weather ratings.

These attributes diluted the length of time it'd take to level up a driver. When these were removed, the dilution was reduced greatly. So the moment any one of the existing attributes was increased by +1, the driver instantly goes up 3 levels.

The issue lies in that these old drivers' levels are misrepresented until they are trained.

Hi Blunion.
Yes, I said almost exactly the same to Andrew via PM. The driver he is speaking about first came into existence in 2014 so was migrated from old iGP. I said one possibility was the new manager immediately trained the driver which caused a two/three level jump. I have experienced this myself in the past.
