To renew or not driver (staff) contract?

Salary increases when we extend the contract, this thing eating up more money, already its difficult to make profit now.
Is it better to renew contract to make sure to keep good driver in team or let him be free and after race sign with him for 3 tokens? which one will be cheaper??

Driver is going to be free exacly after race?? Or after few minutes, hours??

Drivers whose contracts aren't renewed are automatically released after the race.

But this can be a costly thing to do if you plan to re-sign him after he is released. The signing fees will eat you up more than his salary will.

About 5-6M and 3 tokens. I think better is to renew contract.

If you let a driver contract expire, he will be replaced with a driver of lowest level and cost ~$50k per race I think. No signing fees.
