I'm not sure if this has been suggested previously, but as we have it at the moment, in the 2D viewer, we can adjust the level of push for our drivers, which has an affect on tyre warm up, tyre degradation and a little on fuel economy, as well as driver health.
What I'd like to suggest is that we have the ability to change the fuel mix in order to have more control over how much fuel we use in the race, and the performance at different points in the race, which would add to the strategy. I think it would also make the race more difficult in terms of fuel usage (at least at the beginning), but it would also give the opportunity for some people to at least alter the car's fuel economy to a low mix, in case they accidentally messed up the fuel (which has happened to me a couple of times).

I can't see a difference. If you messed up the fuel mix you can still save fuel by going down to "Back Off".
You may think: "Wow, but I don't want to get so slow!"
But to be honest: You can't get one more lap, just by changing the mix a bit. If the e.g. 0,2 difference between "Push Hard" and "Back Off" do not save your day, the mix would not either.
If you messed up your fuel mix, you messed it up. If backing off doesn't save it...you lost.
And you say "at least at the beginning"....well...no difference here as well. If you know it, you know it. It's just getting more complicated and the most important thing: I believe its hard to code. Much work for....my opinion...no real element. Just a thing to get used to and in second season I just do not mess it up again.
Pointless to me.

It's hard enough for me to understand the tyre compounds - never mind fuel mixes
