Sometimes in the race I cant seem to overtake the lapped cars in the corners and simply lose time whenever I lead or am chasing the car ahead. So can you add blue flags so we dont lose time on the car we lap. I know that everyone loses time on it but sometimes the car ahead or behind easily lap the cars on straights and I am unfortunately stuck on the corners behind them.

Blue flags would definitely be a good addition.

Lapped cars do not make you lose time. It is simply that you are slow in slow corners, improve the handling of the car and train slow corners to your pilots.

HONESTLY! we need blue flags in this game, otherwise there will be those of us who are like Sebastian Vettel and complain that lapped cars hold us up, but I think it would be hard to implement, which is the same for the safety car and yellow flags.

Furthermore, those that manage their cars during live races would not like it if they were shown the blue flag every time some car will come past them to lap them, so they have to look at that aspect as well. I'll ask a question, what if you were watching the race live, and your car was shown the blue flag almost every lap?

Lapped cars do hold you up, especially in slow corners. In iGP, slow corners make the car behind lose time to the car in front, which is "realistic" with what is called the concertina effect/accordion effect that you can see in real life racing as well. This is why you see cars sticking close together in tracks like Britain and Italy in this game but spread farther apart in Abu Dhabi, Turkey, etc. It's also why it is hard to stick behind a car in Monaco, to the point of even losing DRS just by being stuck behind another car.

While you may be able to lap a car with no setup and default tyres very easily, they can still hold you up a few tenths. It's worse against a backmarker with a proper strat. Monaco and Singapore are 2 prime examples of tracks where backmarkers can really hold you up if you do not negotiate them well (with some Boost and DRS). In fact, backmarkers with proper strat in Monaco can hold you up forever in certain cases, until you DRS or KERS past them.

I'm on the fence with blue flags though.

I have no idea where this "backmarkers don't hold you up" Bull s**t came from. Backmarkers do hold you up, but blue flags could be a bad idea to add too.
Imagine ur coming up to a backmarker before the Drs zone. You were easily going to get Drs to the slow driver, but then they slow down and let you pass just before the Drs line and the person behind gets Drs. I'd be raging so much.
Just turn off Drs for backmarkers and then maybe introduce a blue flag system; in a competitive league, backmarkers can easily decide a race by blocking or gifting drs...
On another note, remove F-ing auto kers from the game please, I thought we wanted people to log in! :D

Oh yeah how can I forget DRS from backmarkers. That's actually how I won Europe iGP this season since I didn't have team DRS, and it just happened yesterday...

I always get backmarkers giving the F-ing DRS to my rivals,so annoying!Like I only have a 0.1% getting DRS from backmarkers and my rivals don't
