Drivers on the wrong tyres in the wet are serious hold up problem.
I put on full wets too early. I was holding people up that where a full second faster than me for 2-3 laps.
Once it was wet enough for full wets they held me up. Fair enough! Only I was trapped there for 11-12 laps going a full second slower than I should of been. LOL

The gosh darn dirty air when behind slower drivers. Also did you run out of KERS at that moment?

It would be "realistic" if they held you up on a track like Monaco, Singapore, or anywhere that has with more slow corners and is harder to overtake in general. Even if it's on a track easier to overtake, being "only 1 second slower" is not that much to warrant a non-DRS/KERS overtake in most cases. When it's 3-4 seconds slower though, arguably something could be done.
That said, overtaking without DRS or KERS is hard in this game in general. The last non-DRS, non-KERS, non-first 2 laps overtake I had was a season ago in Aus, where my driver on super fresh ss on the last stint overtook some s runner without any of those aids.
Dealing with traffic is a skill needed when you manage live in iGP. A shame that wet races are often a procession due to the difficulty to overtake and more spaced out cars but it's what it is, and at the moment the way to deal with that is effective Boost management and good strategy.
Also note that it takes less Boost to pass cars on the wrong tyres for the conditions when you have the right ones; your car will just rocket past much quicker compared to when battling with a car on same tyres/right tyres for the conditions.

Me with KERS! you must be joking. Bye Bye boost soon as it's got or out lap after pit stop it's gone. It's a drivers aid not a manager aid, no auto no need lol

I agree with Boomer, one second isn't that much of a difference and boost is there for those occasions. Once the speed difference is a bit higher then passing those cars with the wrong kind of tyre in wet, really worn out or way too hard tyres are the only occasions my drivers usually manage to overtake on their own.

I think it would be perfect if we could change tyres while waiting for the race start on viewer.
