Hello iGP team,

I, and apparently some other drivers in my league (British Racing League) suffer from a random (usually multiple time per season) bug:
A saved strategy (let's say 5 stop SS for Monaco) is not applied, drivers use the default 3 stop M strategy.
I haven't found this issue in the known bugs list; I am using Google Chrome.
How can this be fixed?

Hi Brett, I'm not sure what the solution for this may be, but I recommend first erasing the cache in the browser(s) that you play iGP Manager with.

Please ask the other managers in your league post here so I can assist them in resolving this. If they are reading this they should also erase their cache and if any of you still have the problem persist, please post here.

In the meantime, I'll put in a request to have this looked at.

Same issue today:
- saved strategy: 6 stop SS @ low, British Racing League Hungarian round
- both cars run default 3 stop M @ neutral strategy now
- strategy saved on PC (Windows 10, Chrome), app used to access race (last time I used the PC / Chrome race viewer)
- 3rd time this happened to me in this season

Sorry to hear that, I'll ask our developers to look into for possible causes on this.

Are your league members having this issue as well still?

I posted in the league feed, no replies yet. I hope they'll reply to this tread or the league feed if they experience this issue as well.

Hi Pavol, can you try deleting the cache stored by the app? You can go into your phone's list of installed applications, tap on the iGP Manager app, and delete the cache.

I hope those are the correct steps. It's been years since I last fiddled with Android.

Hi Brett / Pavol,
I have two questions:

1) When you saved your strategy, did you come back and re-load the race page and check that it saved?
2) What time of day are you saving your strategies?

I believe this is related, as with all the other issues we've seen recently, to high server load at peak times.

I usually do, never recognised something out of the order before this bug appear.
I usually save my strategies during the European afternoon and evening, around 8 to 1 hour before race start.

#I saved on mobile [as the browser was not loading page] by the time i refreshed the page race was locked and setup was default Neutral; 25/25
2) What time of day are you saving your strategies?
#just before race 2218 IST / 1648 GMT
