Driver value

How is driver value determined?
And is it possible to buy a young driver, then train hem/her and sell with a profit?

Selling drivers for a profit isn't possible, you'd lose money in the entire process. What do you mean by driver value?

I don't have any information regarding selling price. I know signing fees and salary may be affected by age, length of career, points scored, and is significantly affected by whether or not the driver has gotten at least one championship, but how it goes with the selling price is beyond me. You will rarely get back what you spent because of their salary piling on top of the signing fee.

Okay, I thought the selling price was more affected by the stats/specs of the driver. And I assumed that training a low spec driver could be profitable.

There are some crap drivers on the market not worth buying. I remember as a mid-experienced player seeing terrible level 3 drivers with signing fees of $10 million.

And goes the highest/final bid complete in cash to the selling team?

The selling team only earns the signing fees cash if sold via auction as far as I know.
