uncomplete repair

if a car needs to be repaired and let us say you need 10 parts but you have only 5 then you can´t repair. Why is it not possible to use these 5 parts to fill up the repair status?

Good question. I'd like to choose number of parts too xD

I like this suggestion, it was a part of the old version of iGP (over 16 months ago) which is something that needs to be bought back.
