Qualifying

You should do qualifying in a separate session maybe an hour before the race and you manage it. 20 minute session, everyone can send drivers out, choose how many laps of fuel to put in, what tyre, then we can start the race on the fastest lap tyre. If a manager can't come they should do a lap at the end of the session automatically so they do not just come at the back of the grid. Then perhaps have 30 minutes to change strategy if we so want to but the first stint tyre is locked in.

We need a qualifying system that rewards showing up and making a strategy. A multiple round format would be more like Formula One, and qualifying is always somewhat different than the race. Should we require a balance of short and long run speed? That is what this suggestion is asking.

And could you explain why ?

Disagree. This is WHY :
iGP Manager is a good game that needs some improvements, but not improvements that ask players to spend more time on the game.

At the moment, you can play iGP with only around... 15min ? It includes training, practices and establishing your strategy. After that, you just come to the game to follow your car during your 25% race and that's it you can live the real life.
People who have more time go into leagues with 2 cars, with 100% race, races every day etc...

But you can't force people to spend more time on the game. I played a game that needed a lot of time, it was excellent by the time but it is now closed. Because you can make a lot of improvements, but if it implies a lot of time then your game is made to aim only a few people...
Of course it's only my opinion.

I have already explained it in many threads exactly like this one. I will expand my explanation and my points of view when something new is added to this topic. And at the moment I don't see anything that has not already been said in other threads.
