When other than if I run out of engines. Do they replenish at the start of a new season and if so how many? or can you only get them by spending tokens? Thanks in advance.

Engines are provided once every 20 races. You can see how many races until the next restock here:



If you need more engines you can tap or click the green plus button to purchase more in the Engines tab.

Sorry for being pedantic but by once every 20 races do you mean 1 engine or 20 engines?

The engine supplier only tops you off to 20, and not past. If you have 40 engines, you won't get any.
