with disease problems, i like i already explained in another post, i can't manage the kers in live by holding S & K keys
so would be great to let the kers be manage by the drivers like when managers are watching the races

Drivers already use KERS alone if you are not here.

I think what Luca means is that he wants to watch the race but is unable to control the KERS himself so would like the AI to manage KERS as if he were not attending.
Jack / Devs. Can we not implement something like old iGP used to have where you had to select manual KERS? Maybe another selectable option in the race settings window.

Really not sure that's what he meant.
But you seem to have a fight of your own for the KERS, so good luck lol

Luca does indeed want a system where drivers choose to deploy KERS on their own while live managing.

Hi guys
thanks @Kevin Bissell and @Yunus Unia Blunion that's what I really meant
Maybe, is it possible to have a accessibility panel or botton in the settings that allows to solve this problem and the problem shown in this other post https://igpmanager.com/forum-thread/9557
Just a suggestion

There is a workaround Luca. Create a second account and use this account to view the race and watch how your drivers perform. Unfortunately whilst this overcomes your auto-KERS problem you won't be able to adjust strategy during the race if weather conditions change.

In old iGP there was a button to activate and deactivate autoKERS usage. Perhaps this could be implemented back.
This button saved my KERS many times during a disconnect.

@Luca
I think it's a good suggestion, but I'm sure this is not the only problem you have to play for what you said in another post. Have you not thought about using a special software (or hardware) designed for you that allows you to play comfortably like any other person?

@Kevin
Your suggested workaround isn't the best solution 'cause let' s put aside the weather conditions' change but how can I modify the Pace Level (from now PL) depending the tyre compounds; like suggest Joey in his Beginners Guide?

@Rory
Like I already said in that post you are talking about I'm using this device, you can find here: https://www.tobiidynavox.com/devices/Eye-Gaze-Devices/pceye-plus/
Unfortunately within all the options (like Left, Right, Double Click and Drag & Drop and Scroll) hasn't the Hold option so I'm already playing games like any other person for use your own words

How would it be with a botton that activates a list of Accessibility facilities? Will give another image to iGP Manager ;-)

Ok now I understand better. I'm not sure but I think I can help you. There is a program called AutoHotkey for Windows that can create new functions on the keyboard and mouse. I think I can develop a macro that allows you to keep the mouse holded by pressing the letter "m" and stop holding when you press the letter "n", for example, and you could activate and deactivate those macros whenever you want. We could try, because it could be useful not only for this game.

@Rory
For sure it needs that I move the pointer on the kers icon and after swich the macro on & off and for every times I want to use kers for both drivers, do you understand how complicate will be? I could use even use that app but can't be a definitive solution!
I understand that other users can complain about a different treatment but is not my fault, it's better devs work on my suggestion pretty quickly
I also gave a try to the app and I'm not comfortable with it, it's almost impossible the kers deployment

An option to choose for auto-KERS between always off, on if manger is offline and always on both in race viewer and game options/strategy would be nice in any case. Like switching it off if you know you'd be late to a race (or suspect connection issues).

@Luca: I don't know how quick you can perform clicks/key presses with that eye tracking solution. Would an option to change the KERS activation from hold to toggle, aka one click/keypress to activate and another one to deactivate it again, work for you to be able to use manual KERS? It probably won't allow to use it for both cars at the same time but still.

@Rory: I'm not sure those macros will work that easily. If I guess right how this eye tracking system works it would be like controlling a PC by only using a touchscreen with one finger that's always placed on it, plus a few gestures to perform a click and some extra controls like the ones mentioned above.

@Luca @Frank
I think there is a misunderstanding. You don't have to activate and deactivate the macro every time you want to use the kers, only activate it once before the race and deactivate it after the race. During the race you just have to place the mouse on top of the kers and press "n" or "m". I insist if "n" or "m" is uncomfortable can be changed to "scroll up" "scroll down" or any combination that comes to mind. I have already tested it and it works perfectly.

The solution that I am providing is similar to the one you propose in this post, only that it is necessary to pose the mouse over the kers button. You also didn't specify if you can hold with a key, if you could do it, then my macro would only need one key instead of two; holding a key for activate kers and droping for deactivate. It would be that simple.

Of course, I don't intend to substitute the possibility of iGP incorporating more functions to control the race, but on the one hand it's necessary to understand that if iGP plans to incorporate it, it won't do so quickly and this is a temporary solution, and on the other hand the macro that I try to provide you with will not only help you with the game but with any other type of task in which you need to use the mouse's hold. I also think you'd prefer to control the KERS by yourself.

Yes, I do understand how the macro works. The problem is if this communication device is his only input device there's no mouse and no (physical) keyboard. There's eye tracking that puts a mouse pointer whereever you look on your screen and several control areas on the screen allowing for certain actions and maybe voice control like for dictating texts.
