This season in MJL I have got closer to Marcel Smid than ever before, I was even thinking that if a had a good second half to the season I could possibly beat him.. Then half an hour ago in Hungary a bug cost me so many points it has more or less decided the championship in his favour because realistically there's no way I can make up a 70 point defecit against such a strong manager.

So on to the bug... My cars were burning 2.0 litres per lap when at the very last second my lead car decided to dive into the pits one lap earlier than planned with 2.1 litres of fuel remaining.

This comprimised the race for both cars, my lead car ran out of fuel on the last lap when leading and his team mate lost about 5 seconds at the previous pit stop waiting for the lead car to clear the pit box.

To say I'm hacked off is a monumental understatement.

I think I have had one instance like this a couple weeks ago, but I realized my pit stop was past the start/finish line. Was your pit box the same by any chance? If you aren't sure or don't recall I can probably check your race results' telemetry.

edit: I just remembered, my previous race was Hungary as well, and I did notice my drivers wanted to pit a lap sooner than desired. Fuel consumption was something like 2.25 in practice I think? And I knew I'd never go higher than neutral push level so I figured I was good, but much to my surprise, it wasn't enough because my pit box was far past the start/finish line. My drivers wanted to pit a lap early, but I didn't let them and on the lap they were intended to pit they'd run out of fuel halfway into the pit lane, a sacrifice I was okay with.
