model/performance

Whats the relatrionship between model and performance ? - there appears to be be the potential for increasing varaition in performance in relation to the model of the part.  Thus a higher model part can have a lower performance than another lower model part.  (if that makes any sense!")

There is no real relationship.
The Model means how often the part was developed during the season.
"1D" means that this part is used in first season and it has been developed 3 times during that season.
"2F" means that this part is used in second season and it has been developed 5 times during that season.
"5Z" means that this part is used in fith season and it has been developed 25 times during that season.
