car performance totally wrong

Hi,
I'm at level 9 and till now my engineers produced car in line with my expectations, but for this new season my car is starting from 8 and 7 in all the areas....i never had such a nasty car. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, can you help me?

Did you leave your league and re-join it by any chance? If not, did you recently get promoted to the Elite tier?

I was promoted to elite a season ago. This is my second season as elite. I never changed league, nor left and rejoined. The only thing i forgot to say is that last season almost all races were canceled due to lack of competitor: I was left alone in elite

Hi Giorgio, this explains why your car design was so terrible. For each race a Chief Designer is active, they contribute their skills to the next season design. Your Chief Designer was active your previous season, but your team only completed 2 races before somebody left the tier and halted the racing. Since there were not more races in the season to put forth development into the next season's car, this affected the progress of the car design.

Ok, thank you for your explanation! Now it's clear to me what happened. I just have to deal with it :)
