Driver level not correct?

My driver is maxed out (20) on every attribute. Yet his overall level still sits at 19. Why is that?

19? That's good, mine are only 18 LOL. Seriously, something that was debated at length about six months ago, we never did get a definitive answer. See here... Link to driver level debate

Kevin, I gave you an answer via PM, remember? The talent attribute in Jack Brabham's case is more than 19.50, so it gets rounded up to look like 20 I suspect, but since it's not a perfect 20 he's shown as level 19.

But I have level 20 for every attribute plus 100 health. How is that not a perfect 20? I don't understand.

I'm not sure how old you may be as a user, but as players we only see whole numbers throughout the game, but in the database these numbers have decimals.

If they're all indicating 20 you can't train further. Each time the progress indicator clicks over 100% you will see a message saying something like "No Change".

Jack, your driver's attributes are all 20 except for talent (and possibly experience if he hasn't maxed that out yet).

Most likely experience is maxed out, but not so on talent. As I said earlier, the attributes of drivers contain decimals but are not displayed to us on the front end. These numbers are rounded up I believe. So if the driver's talent level less than 20.0 (e.g. 19.99 or less) he'll appear to us with talent 20, but overall level with all the other attributes at 20.0 will be reflected as level 19 because of the talent not being a perfect 20.

So if it's a case of 1 attribute (talent) being less than 20 but presumably more than 19 how does the driver below work? All attributes indicating 20, he is at minimum weight but overall is only L18.
Also from observation it seems much more likely that a driver who has been migrated from old iGP will achieve L20 when fully trained.

@Jack Brabham... I wouldn't concern yourself too much about not achieving overall L20, the driver pictured above has won six drivers championships in one of the most competitive 50% leagues.

Sorry to say, but the decimal thing is a bit nuts. Why are the decimals only rounded up and not down? So in reality we don't know what actual level driver we're buying when deciding on talent level because talent could be anywhere between 19.01 and 20 when it shows level 20. I can't see any logical reasoning for this.

@ Kevein, I too won a championship with a level 18 driver in an extremely competitive league. In fact it was this same driver who is maxed out - umm or not....

Who said the game is only rounding up? I think it's actually rounding up and down as we are used to, because I'd expect to find way less drivers showing 0 talent if anything zero point something would be rounded up and showing 1.
