Ability to remove messages in the league section.

Would it possible to add a feature to remove messages left in the league section by the league owner?

As an example, if I have someone using bad language, I would like to be able to remove that post and likewise, should I get someone advertise their league in my chat section, imtoo would like to be able to remove it..

I think in term of using bad language on the league page, it would be more convenient and faster if the game itself detected swear words and deleted posts automatically. I'm fifty/fifty on the rest though: on one hand it helps when the league host is inactive, but it might give to much power to trolls who will just delete any message.

Every possible swear word or disrespectful message in every language (including dead or fictional)? May be automatic detection can help but can't resolve the problem.

I was thinking for the league host/owner only being able to delete unwanted messages and as such inactive league hosts are wholly irrelevant.

I don't need a swear detector, as they could well pick up on innocent phrases used in parts of the world that are considered obscene in other parts...

I'll probably discuss this with Jack on what is a good solution. Allowing league hosts to delete comments might be good.

I'd mostly just welcome it to remove posts advertising other leagues. It's just not the place for it.

@Carl, I agree that swear detectors would be ok but only if they notified/warned people about the comment. I don't think it would be good if the game deleted comments because I know it would go wrong at least once

Where did you get the impression league hosts can delete posts?

Passive word filters rarely function as intended, and I'd rather not see rampant censorship of perfectly innocent posts.

Are you talking about comments on the league page? if you are, then that is removable by the host. You can make a league and check this yourself very quickly
Or are you talking about posts in the forum? which are only removable by the user who posted them?

I've signed in as my league's host and cannot. What league do you host that you can do this in? It isn't possible.

I'm Leo Yeo but on an my friends account. I have a league and I can delete any comment I want. Maybe this is glitch or something.
As you can see the "x" button appears over any comment I hover on...

They don't come up for me when I'm logged in as the host.

I am a league host and I have the ability to delete other people comments but only sometimes. It doesn't matter if I am using Android or the Laptop it will randomly allow me to do this.

I just checked on mine and I only gave the option to remove my own posts...

Please add this facility

Its starting to get a little annoying having people spam the league chat looking for drivers, or trying to poach teams etc.

I'll see what we can do about this.
