Me and the participants of the league where I run, we discussed that it would be good to have an award for the top three overall in each season, because there is no win if you can win the championship. Therefore, there is no motivation to invest high to fight for the championship and you will not gain anything from it. So, I urge you to review this and that in the next update the top three placed at least win some amount of tokens (according to league level) for there to be more competitiveness.

This had been suggested like hundred times already. never saw a reaction from the admin tbh. But i think a reward is good for the top 3.

There's +100 reputation points to get 1st and 2nd in Elite (I don't know if other tiers do that).

Yeah , it was discussed a lot of times and nothing. I cant see why there isn't some reward for winning the champ. So whats the point of winning the championship , none.

just wanted add that there is a reward for the top three in the championship: you get 100 reputation points for the hall of fame. I understand what you mean, adding a monetary reward for top 3 would increase the ambition to fight for 3rd or better. Although it has already been said that adding this would make the quickest teams faster and create a gap between 1st-3rd and the rest, and obviously no one in igp wants this to happen!

I would like some free tokens, even if it were only a few something like 5-3-1

Well, an economic prize for the Top3 can be useful, also for teams that make economic losses at the end of a GP

The spread from top team to youg team grow with reputation. Give teputation for winning is a mistake. Give game $ different amount for the 1st to 10th, as in teal championship.

Money doesn't make teams faster in iGP. As it stands, there is really no incentive for winning a championship or even races in this game. Sponsor bonuses benefit those who finish lower as well, since if you get good results in spite of your team much less developed compared to others in your league, you'll start to get difficult sponsor targets which would arguably make regularly finishing 20th or lower better for you economically. Cars regularly finishing at the back tend to simply get "finish the race" as their target, or at least finish 20th/32nd or something.

And yeah reputation doesn't really mean anything since anyone can gain rep by attending races actively and dropping their team in a league with other high rep managers, though you need consistently decent results. Whether the league you're in is active, competitive or not, doesn't really matter; managers with high rep numbers do. So I personally wouldn't consider the rep bonus for top 2 in the championship (top 4 in 1 car leagues) a significant reward.
