Commenting in Leagues

Today, we have implemented an action to completely eliminate or curb almost entirely all the league spam/advertising that was being posted to poach players from a league.

Players will now be required to spend 5 minutes in a league before they can post a comment. A message will be displayed how much time is remaining before they can comment if the player has not yet been in the league for 5 minutes.

Is it possible to have past members leave comments, or do they have to be active members? My league sometimes has past members who will will occasionally come by and drop a line.

I would like to be this section improved: when you write an big text, it's lost and not posted.

maybe the post of strangers can be put on hold and the admin of the league can publish or not.

I was one of those people that would post messages in others leagues. There are many players out there running around in leagues with no active players and they don't even know it. But I can understand how this could be abused by people and why the change was needed.

I really like the idea of Lancia. For inactive leagues, after 5 days all pending comments would be published. There are a lot of dead leagues and these comments may help people leaving them.

I agree, league host being able to approve/reject comments from non members would be a better option.
