How about adding a feature where you can get your KERS and DRS disabled.Like when you push too much and your car part below 90%,it starts to randomly disable KERS and DRS and gain them again.So players have to both push and nurse the car at the same time

Sorry but I think it's useless and unrealistic
it is more important to add an option to allow the pilot to manage the kers even during live races (for those who prefer it)

Having an option for the Drivers to control the KERS would be a good idea, it would give the data a more neutral level if a player wanted to see how their Drivers fared against the others, or even against the previous seasons results if a player were to be so technical as to save that sort of information.

I agree with the auto kers option even though I would never use it when attending a race because it's always slower.
I think more important would be an option to disable advanced strategy so that when you're attending a race and the weather changes you get to choose your tyre and fuel strategy and don't spend the remainder of the race cancelling pit stops and generally battling the advanced strat.
