Pay to have more laps in free practice

It's fine to have a limited amount of laps but since there are 4 different compounds in my opinion there should be more laps or we should be able to pay to have more laps. Even though finding the right setup is easy the lap times are often misleading. For example today I had soft tyres as fast as super in one lap (with slightly different wings). I would have tried more laps to see if this was something consistent but I couldn't due to the 5 laps limit.
