Strategy when weakest car in championship

I was just promoted to superior league in chapionship. I will be the weakest car with the weakest drivers. If i follow the standard strategy in all races, very likely i will be last one at the arrival so i think i need some alternative strategy. What strategy can i use to make some points during the season?

It's good, but in Elite all players are smart and consistent and the first season i will have a really poor car compared to other players.

Also try taking a risk on running more stops in the European race. The short pit lane means you will lose less time doing an extra pit.
