Anyone know how to get the start of the season? When a season starts the classification before the first race, how is it done?

What I mean is, when starting a new season the overall classification is zeroed, but we have a classification, I want to know how it is done, if randomly, or a standard is used. Because last season I finished third and I'm starting the new one in the first tenth.

Vinicius, push in the left, Classification, then in the top, there is a button, then at the top, there is a button that says, season and a number. Just click there, and select the previous season and you will see the classification.

It should be the previous season finishing positions for the top 14 teams and then the two promoted teams 15th & 16th but it doesn't always seem to work this way.
There is a known bug which often means the previous season champion gets low car numbers instead of #1 & #2, also second place is sometimes towards the bottom of the listing for the start of the season.
I don't know how important it is to fix this bug, personally I'd prefer the developers to work on the weather forecast and level of water on the track just before qualifying.
