Staff Level

I just reached level 18. I have a TD with stats of 19/20/19... is level 18 but only 4.5 stars?

Also... sometimes i feel i buy a 5 star employee but when they join they become 4.5? :S

The stats aren't tied to the level of the staff (this is all I know from Jack posting about it nearly a year ago).

I think the issue with staff being the same level as the manager but being 4.5 stars is because of a rounding error with the level, but I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that.

and do 5 star buys become 4.5 stars or am i nuts?

Perhaps you're nuts! I've never seen this happen, nor has anybody else.
