My team has already locked up the driver's and team championships with one race remaining. I was considering letting my other driver compete in the last race. Will this effect my other driver's eligibility for the championship?

Joshua, you can check this in your League's drivers standing page. There you see all drivers owned by every team, so unless you sell Jake Hunt, he'll get Driver Championship. What can happen is that not being counted, because iGP servers sometimes miss this.

So I'd be better off leaving Jake in for the final race then?

You can keep him as a reserve driver and he will still be able to win the championship if it's been clinched already.

How about if you sell a driver mid-season, you loose him from the drivers championship but do you loose the points from the team standings as well?

No, the driver will vanish from the standings, but you will keep the constructor's championship points
