Ran out of fuel on last lap... didn't pit, seemed to finish while retired?

Not sure if you guys can see this but my driver N Yaname at Turkey managed to finish while retired for running out of fuel. Very weird situation if anyone is able to explain :s

you will still finish, ahead of any1 who is +1 lap ahead of you as the race finishes on the lap the leader "wins"

Okay thanks, but why didn't he auto pit?

I dunno the answer to that without seeing how much fuel/tyres etc you had when you pitted.... could have been a 2d error, or you might not have had enough fuel
