Weather.

All of our weather data is real-time and streamed live from weather stations located at each circuit. The forecasts are only as trustworthy as the weatherman on TV, so you have to use your own instinct sometimes on whether to follow it or not.

Just as in real life, sometimes it will go against you. As we often see in F1, teams get it wrong with real weather. When this happens, it's usually an opportunity for smaller teams to punch above their weight and score unexpected points.

It can happen. But the home page now contains a more detailed forecast which might come in handy in future. If you click the day of your race it breaks it down in to day/night weather patterns and how much rainfall is expected and when.

The homepage is the forecast for the whole day. where as in setup it is the currenty weather. If you click on Monday[or any other day shown] a popup will open containing detailed weather forecasts for both the day and night]

We did switch to a more stable weather API and limit available conditions so that it is easier to understand and more reliable in general.

We did not say that we would control the climate of planet earth after Q1 and prevent inconvenient weather patterns. :P

I still think this post is an example of people from stable climatic regions not understanding what the rest of us have to put up with and how the weather can change when you least want it to :)

The rest of us? So where are you from?

And please, don't say Brittain. You guys have the most stable weather in the world. It's always shitty weather :p .

LOL - or if you live in the north of Scotland slightly wetter snow - as opposed to solid ice crystals!
