So it’s happened a few times in my league where a manager finishes ‘x’ at the end of a season and then the standings for the upcoming season, before the first race, they are right down the bottom and suffering in the pit lane. Anybody else had this?

I've no idea what you're talking about. What are they at the bottom of?

Either there staff is bad so there car design for next season is crap. Or someone joined half way season and encountered second season bug . Making his car best and all the others much worse then expected

@Yunus. I think what Tom is talking about is the random way in which teams seem to be ordered at the beginning of the season. I have noticed on a number of occasions that champions and runners up of elite can be ordered incorrectly the next season. I would expect the champions to be cars 1&2, runners up cars 3&4. Instead it is not uncommon to see them as cars 25, 26, 27 & 28 which means they end up at the wrong end of the pit lane.
Whether the position in the pit lane makes any difference I don't know.

good advantage to being high numbers, would love to be numbers 20-32 every season (except at Australia, China, Silverstone).

Being numbers 1 & 2 is a disadvantage compared to high numbers.....

I've seen this happen, I'll see if it's something Jack knows about or if he can address it.
