Same sponsor on different parts?

Shouldn't that be impossible? If not, how an earth am I able to do that? If you look at this guy's livery, you can clearly see he has H2O2 all over his car:

Let's say I have H2O2 on my sidepods. I'm trying to add it to my front wing by pressing the front wing-text and selecting H2O2 from the list. All I can do is renew or cancel the contract I have made to the sidepods. And it takes me to renewing if I use the shortcut "make an offer".

Am I missing something?

Also at the moment you should only be able to have each sponsor on 1 part of the car

I think i know how this could have happened.

What i have noticed is that you can negotiate with a sponsor even if you already have an open negotiation with them. My guess is, this is due to sponsor negotiations not expiring.
e.g: You try to sign Giggle for Front wing, and Giggle accepts. Don't accept this immediately. After some time (don't know exact time interval, could be a day or two), you can try to sign Giggle for another part (Rear wing) and if Giggle accepts now, you have Giggle accepting two sponsorships. I haven't actually tried accepting both as i assumed accepting second one will cancel the first one. But apparently that is not the case.
