No design points

I don't understand why my team has no design points at the start of the new season !

Please help me !

You get a new car for start of new season  that your staff create from there stats you start getting points after race 1

Sorry, I don't understand.
This is my 5th season in Elite and last season I had 100 design points in all main car characteristics.

Now, I'd like to know why I start the season with no design points ! :(

What do you mean with no design points, is your car 1 in everything, or can you not put any points into it. The first one is normal when you join a new league, you must get some points by 'the racing goverment', but the second one is normal.

I mean that for that season I have 25, 13 and 11 in other abilities. However, for the staff I have 2 five stars. This is not my first season in Elite and I don't understand !!!

Every season your car starts on new numbers it' never starts on 100. The numbers it starts on depend on your CD strenths and weaknesses 

I know, but normally with 5 stars staff I always got something like 35-40 and I don't understand why I got only 11 !!!! It's impossible

Dan how long have you had the 5 star CD and TD? 
How many star were your CD and TD before you got the 5 start CD and TD?

I didn't know that design points depend on the number of races with 5 stars CD !
Since, I hired 5 stars CD the last race of the season ! 

For how long should CD be hired for max impact on new season's car?

Dan looking at your staff you have only had 5 star CD for 1 race and 5 star TD for 2 races. So if before you got this 5 star staff your staff had low level star's that explains your DP. 

Thank you M S, before I had 4.5 stars TD but I didn't know that there is a minimum for the races. What it the minimum races number for best effects ?
