So...before lockdown, I finished setting up my advanced strategy for tonight's Hungarian iGP (racing in the MJL), and it looked like this:
Pit when raining at 5mm (both drivers)
Pit when rain stops for 36 laps and go for SS tyres (also both drivers)

But for some odd reason the game simply ignored my advanced strategy settings, costing me a possible 1-2 finish.

That has to be a bug, and I want it to be investigated.

If that WAS a bug, then not even a financial compensation would satisfy me right now...the game basically screwed me in a critical stage of a race and the championship (I could have reduced my gap to the current leader Barracuda Racing to less than 10 points.)

It really seems the pit stop problems increased recently. In our last race in Brazil we've got the whole selection, one team having both cars pitting despite canceling it after rain starts and before the last lap his cars went for another unwanted stop for some reason. My cars (trying to) autopit due to weather despite the advanced settings being at 5mm and 50 laps. In one scheduled stop my car left with inters instead of the set wets. There where other odd stops and tyre selections (mediums on still wet track) but I don't know if those came from bugs as well or the manager(s) not paying close attention in a pretty chaotic race.

When I mess up because I didn't prepare the advanced strategy, I accept it as my own mistake.

But I DID prepare my advanced strategy, but my cars pitted anyway.

My race was ruined because of one bloody game error!!!

Seriously, I think about completely retiring after the current season. After 15 seasons I had a big shot (my 3rd one) at the championship, and all of a sudden the game decides to screw me by making my drivers pit.

Are the goddamn developers actively trying to drive me into retirement with this stupid autopit option???

No, they aren't trying to force you to quit the game. I'm actively urging them to address these problems as soon as possible. I understand everybody's frustration, it's my frustration too — I'm probably the only person on the iGP team who actively plays the game and sees all the issues.

The developers are aware of these bugs, but since I don't have a full scope on the entire operation of the game, there is probably a reason why it's taking longer than it should to get these fixes out.

Please use a more accurate title for the topic, so it will be easier for other users to find it. For being the first time I'll take care of changing it myself so you can take it as an example. To edit a topic click on the pencil in the lower right corner.

Hi Guys, I am guessing my problem best fits this thread, so here goes.

Yesterdays race At Australia (Jock Squad League) i encountered a frustrating 'bug' that I have experienced before.

My advanced setting were set for Wet Tyres if lvls reached 3mm.  The race started above that lvl, And i correctly started on Wets.

The rain stopped and the lvl went down to 0.4mm, before the rain started again.  With the lvls so low, I opted for inters, yet the very next lap the system kept trying to override my decision, and brought my cars in and was trying to change to Wets, despite the lvls being well below 1mm, let alone the 3mm it was set for.

Ultimately, with the stop start nature of the weather, one of my drivers had 6 stops to his name, and quite clearly cost me a 1-2, as the driver I managed to stop pitting won by over 50secs.

Regards,

Steve
