DRS and KERS

In my last race DRS didnt seem to be opperating and Kers would only work if i pressed the button eventhough its set for the driver to use it. help !!

Assuming you mean the Race in Italy?, Otherwise correct me and post similar links to above

yep thre the ones, thanks for that. used a 2d trial and didnt see drs working and no kers unless i pressed the button. thanks for any help

Nico should be able to check, Incase your not aware:

DRS will only work if you are within 1s of the car infront & generally if driver controlled kers is selected they will only use it to catch people for drs, to overtake or avoid people overtaking [From experience] if your in a position in the race with no cars e.g. 3s either side of you then they wont use it at all until the later laps of the race

Since we are not logging drs times right now I can only say that you should got DRS one time in Lap 3. If there was any car in front of you which was not in the same lap as you then you probably used drs.
We will log drs times in the future until then we can only say what we see and up from that point there was no chance of using drs because you were to far away from the next.

As David said. Kers is used to overtake or to defend by the AI. This system is not perfect and that is known.

I have just bought KERS for my team. I want to know if I have to be oniline and manually press the button for it to work or will the driver activate it when he sees fit, if I'm not here for the race?

DRS is auto the driver will deploy DRS when 1sec behind another driver in the drs zone.

The driver will do it for you no worries!!!gl 

^ & KERS will automatically be used by the driver as well if you are not there [mainly to overtake, stay within drs, avoid being overtaken etc]

But what if you want to operate it yourself, can you change those settings?

If your using 2d yes, theres a button that you click to use it
