The whole thing about KERS is that it draws it's energy from Regenerative Braking, with that, it is renewable and should be able to recharge.
But will there be anyway to have a 6.67 second KER battery per lap, or is the issue behind that simply because of the limitations of the current AI?

The KERS energy is generated from braking, that's why it charges up on the opening lap or two. We decided not to model it after the F1 system because the F1 system is simply crappy in this context. We used it during the beta and it rendered taking control of it as manager pointless, because everyone pressed it at the same point each lap.

The way it is now generates varying strategies in how and when you deploy the KERS throughout the race.

Ah so the AI was quite the issue for KERS and having the manager say when is a bit Controlling. Oh well, how long does the KERS last?

Also on another note, the KERS in F1 will be much stronger as the teams will be using a more affordable V6 Engine.

Pretty much a full lap on most tracks if you use it constantly, although its better to use it in small bursts to either overtake or catch people to get drs [as you will gain more time over the race] than using it to go 5s or so faster on 1 lap

Keeping KERS use fun when the manager takes over is the focus. I don't understand what is meant by AI being an issue for KERS. If the manager isn't using it then the AI still use it all up during the race.

iGP KERS is already stronger than F1, mainly to make it more fun to use.

No wonder I lost 1st :( I am still lacking money due to that stupid Driver contract issue (thank you facebook) to get KERS.
