Why isn't it possible to join a league at lower tiers if current one has no vacant places? There are not many really competitive and active leagues in the game while the league capacity is strictly limited, so elite tier is often full with active players, while pro and rookie has never been filled up with those in my league. Several times I had to make hard choices (that required the strongest will) and choose a player to kick because a more active one wanted to join. Allowing players to join lower tiers would easily solve the problem.

As a league host, I have had people demoted to a lower level, in order to allow for a vacant slot in the elite tier.
The issue with putting high level players into a lower level is that they it accelerates the player level increase and potentially putting weaker players at risk of having weight restrictions placed upon them due to their raised level. I have seen this in one of my leagues where a level 13 player fell to Rookie along with a Level 15. I had new 1 season old players with level 10 and 11 accounts. I run a waiting list which many players accept.
