Racing Controls Today has limited features and very hard to understand in some places, and the racing controls for free users are far from imformative. I myself is Subbed for more than a year, so this isn't a 'gimme free sub' crap. Just to let that bare in your mind for, while you read this.

Car Heads Up Display.

Currently the HUD in Live Timing & Controls and 2D viewer, is small, difficult to see and gives very little information.
This area should be larger in showing the car's telemetry for both drivers. I have an example image here.
Information about each part of the HUD will be detailed below:

Track Map - Same as it is the now, there is no reason to change this.

Live Chat - Shows live chat between teams, aswell as race alerts such as overtakes and pitstops.

Additional Options - This would be like High Textures, Disable chat etc.

Car Telemetry 1 & 2 - This would display the Car like it does the now but vertically. Each tire will be colour coded by it's temperature for Free Users, and for Subbed Users, it will display the temperature in Celsius.

Tire/Driver/Health Wear (Driver was meant to be Fuel) - Is the exact same as it is now, but it will also include a slider of -100% Take it easy <-> 0% Hold position <-> 100% Push Hard.

Pit Strategy - Same as the one used in 2D Viewer, but smaller is size, which will contain the next up to 3 pitstops including what lap is the pit stop estimated to be due.

Driver Feedback - Would include messages of information such as KERS is activated, DRS is activated, Trouble with a car component, or advisory of weather problems such as the Track is far too wet, we need to switch to Full Wets and other car functions the driver can relay. This feedback is limited to once per lap for Free Users.

Lap No and Track/Air Temp - Would display Information about the Temperatures and current Lap.

Live Timing - Same as it is now but for Subscribed users, they will see a (S) for Soft Tires, (H) for hard Tires, (I) for intermediates and (W) for Wets.

Racing Conditions - Release information such as Flag Status in what sectors, if a car retires due to fuel or damage, then a yellow flag is shown in that sector. If there are any other issues on the track, it would be displayed here. This content would be better known for Race Control Information.

Weather Warnings - Displays current weather, and temperatures, for subbed users it also displays upcoming weather.
Designers Budget
Alike in the manufacturing facility, you could alter the money funded into testing and designing new car pieces, resulting better results.

Manufacturing Storage and New Technology

Manufacturing facility should have an ordering and deliver system which allows parts to be created for the newest designed model. An inventory should be made available for parts such as new front wings etc and their Model Letter (A) etc.

Once the Drag Reduction System is researched, a new upgrade of the Rear Wing becomes available and must be manufactured.

Once the Kinetic Energy Recovery System is researched, a new upgrade for the Internals becomes available and must be manufactured.

Manufacturing all car components (Chassis, Front Wing, Side Pods, Rear Wing, Internals, Suspension and Underbody) requires money and time to build.

You can order several pieces at any time, but this would be what is available for next race to be fitted.

Unused parts can be stored and used for a later time or sold for a lesser price.

OPTIONAL: You can sell a spare part to another team for them to reverse engineer it, removing Spying altogether.

Free Users will have a more limited space of storage than Subbed Users.
Limited equipment at race
Each team can only bring a limited ammount of equipment to the race which can be fitted at any given time. But not during the race

All parts used from last race

2 Spare Front Wings

4 Sets of Soft Tires

3 Sets of Hard Tires

3 Sets of Intermediate Tires

4 Sets of Full Wet Tires
This means you can only have 4 pitstops worth of Soft Tires maximum, if you pucture or over use them, then you need to use another tire. Front wings can be replaced in a pitstop following an accident, but this would greatly increase the pitstop time.

Driver Engineer Involvement
Some races, you arn't going to be there, that means you could really mess up a race and cost you alot. The Driver's Engineer can easily take over the job for you depending on his Attributes to guide the driver for a tire change due to weather, or perhaps to moderate the Pushing levels of the driver. The Driver's Engineer will do a poorer job than you but it helps. This feature is disabled if you are viewing the race.

More League Options
During the League Interval, the League owner can choose to have the Dry Weather Rule enabled and if Refueling during pits is allowed.

Disable or Enable Refueling

Disable or Enable a Dry Weather Rule (If the Race starts as a Dry Race and remains dry for more than 40%, each team must use a set of Soft and Hard Set of tires)

Disable or Enable Drag Reduction System

Disable or Enable Kinetic Energy Recovery System

Set X ammount of races of which new car ugprades can be fitted.
Young Driver Program
Each team may have additional young driverst training to one day replace your current drivers.

Each team may have up to 2 Young Drivers

Each Young Driver can be trained up once every 3 races

An additional training session will be available at the end of the season.

These drivers have contracts which are very similar to Driver Contracts

Young drivers require Scouting Staff to find

Young Drivers can be as young as 15 but can only Drive an F1 car at 18.

Young Drivers Scouting and Training Facilities would be a level 9 and 10 Unlockables.
More Staff Positions
With more facilities to come into play, more staff maybe needed.

Level 7 and Level 9 Offices Upgrade

New Scouting Staff - Send to specific Continents, can find new drivers as young as 15 to 21 for a Young Driver's Program.

New Trainers Staff - Inside the Training Facilities and Gym, they can passive increase young Drivers and current Driver's attributes over several races.
Some very interesting suggestions here, and I'll try to add my opinion in order, so as not to skip over anything or get lost xD

Car heads up display:

To be honest, I think the viewer is fine as it is for now, and with the exception of driver feedback, I don't think that a lot of it would change much. It would be interesting to have a button, in which we could possibly ask a driver a question, like what the grip is like on the track, how the car is feeling, and whether the tyres are suitable for the conditions, or even how much they're being held up by the car in front, if indeed that is the case.

Designer's budget:

Another nice idea, and it could definitely work. The only problem I see is that, will this give an advantage to teams which have an extortionate amount of money, or will there be a certain amount that can be spent in one season?

Limited Equipment:

I could see something like this working. I think the thing that strikes me the most is that it would give the option of a change of front wing. We all know that our parts wear during a race, but it would be interesting to change a front wing, bringing it back to its full potential, and then seeing how that can effect our performance, and it would bring a new strategical element into play.

Driver Engineer:

This is an idea that I like. We all know how frustrating it is having to know that you will miss a race, and possibly take a huge loss on points and reputation, so having a feature that could help maintain competitiveness would be widely enjoyed, I'm sure. Although, I fear that it would be a complicated feature to implement.

Young driver program:

Again, a good idea, and not unlike the suggestion that I posted a while ago - http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=forum-thread/846
