Think this testing of Des points is too harsh. Go down by more than 50% in many areas. Who agrees ?

Assuming you mean at the end of the season (since I can see your season has just reset), I don't think it is a problem. It needs to go down by a lot in order for there to be enough room to develop the car back up to full potential in the next season and keep it interesting.

In case you aren't familiar with how this works, your next season design is generated by the active chief designer, at every race in the preceding season. Your next season design is an organic thing that is always developing in the background throughout the season. If it started really low, this could even be because you ran the bulk of the previous season with a poorly rated chief designer.

I actually like the current system it's good because just like in RL F1 they'll have a new design every year so of course there are going to be different parts that are going to be better than others from the previous year so they take that design over to the new car.

And as you say Jack it keep it interesting because it give you the chance to try a different set up design during the year so you can work out what's best for the next race and work on that to get the design in that area as high as possible this coupled with the fact that you have 15 other teams doing the exact same thing from the same situation keeps the seasons very interesting and unpredictable.
