When you get the weather forecast up for a particula race day, theres a day time & night time forecast, what i want to know is when does the night time forecast kick in, im racing at 5.40pm uk time so be finished about 6.25pm, its quite important to know when, as the forecast for day & night time are diff, like today it was much less rain at nighttime compare to heavey rain during day so need full wtes etc rather than inters.

Thanks

Interesting question - i would assume that night time is after about 9 to10pm (as that is what the tv weather refers to) but that is just my opinion.

I always assumed the forecast was relative to the location of the track ie. when i [UK 2100 GMT] race in singapore/china etc the forecast is always for thursday

Haha the forecasts are screwing me over atm. Got a race in Monaco today. Yesterdays forecast was for rain, and todays was for heavy rain, yet lockout is in 30 minutes and it's still saying 24.0 degrees and sunny. I have a feeling I'm going to get shafted by the weather one way or the other :(

I have found quite an easy solution to this. When you go on to google maps it say this

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=43.737771,7.426157&spn=0.018387,0.045276&t=m&z=15&lci=weather

there is an hourly timer on the right which links to weather.com if you can work out to the timezone of the race job done. I have used this in the past and this is pretty accurate.
