So this happens on one of the last and most important race of the season, neck and neck in the drivers standings, two to go. I have never decided on a 3 pit strategy, never! Our races are only 25 approx laps.  I never use medium tyres. I distinctly remember, as I always meticulously do, keying in a 1 stop strategy with correct setup. So imagine my horror, when present during the race, as always, first I notice I'm on medium tyres, hey ho never mind I'll change to hard, I thought at half distance. Nope we pit again and just to really destroy any chance of getting a single point we pit for a 3rd time. So suspicious, furious and denied. Someone needs to have a really thorough look at the data. Pit 3 times? you must be joking, it's not even a standard setting. Why this race? well the mind wonders.

Its no hack. It's fault of your poor Network connection (perhaps cellular data involved?) Had this situations in past since I'm on wifi never again. To avoid in future save strategy close app and reopen and check. Cought this happening multiple times on cellular network. Think it's an API poor design. App should give errors if not reaching server at any particular time but it does not

Thanks for that input, I'm on a fibre optic setup accessing from my Ipad. Also by PC direct and wired. There is no way a strategy can go from a default 2 stops to a 3 stop without manually changing it. The normal default would be 2 stops on medium for my league. I almost always use 1 stop. I even remember inputing the data.

Did you use the Strategy tab at the top or the tyre and fuel select on the drivers name bar at the bottom to make your changes in the race?

I inputted the data about 17 hrs before the race, then checked and made some alterations about 8 hrs before. All on internet, I'd be curious to see the IP data? There is no way, 100% I would have opted for what happened. It's not even a standard strategy for a non player.

You are saying there is no way, but there is a way.
Default is 2 stops. But the estimated laps is one lap short causing 3 stops.

Showing as 11 laps

But taking a closer look it's 10 laps not 11

Do you use VPN or standard connection?

Burning up tyre uses more fuel than an optimal temp tyre.
Team with no setup the default strategy isn't the same as you with a setup.
No setup has too much fuel.
With setup is under fuelled.

That it's not 11 when you see 11 is somewhat normal, if you change the amount of stops it will let you see what amount it should be, and it's up to you to look if you want that and change your tires. And with a set-up, if you just change it by clicking the plus. You won't be underfueled, keep in mind aswell you mostly run less pushing than in practice, so you save some fuel.
