According to Coswort and Williams, Monza is actually the second least fuel consuming race on the calender.
Only tipped by Monaco, but only because the race distance at Monaco is a lot shorter. Monza is the curcuit with the best fuel/kilometer ratio of all circiuts. In this game it says that fuel consumption is very high at 4.5 L / lap, where as Williams say that its a modest 2.2kg (roughly 3.3L) / lap So.. yeah, you just might want to correct that. Not that its a big deal, but it can't be a hard fix.

Fuel round Monza is a lot less than 4.5l / lap in game [and the total fuel needed to complete all laps is roughly the 2nd lowest] With Monaco being the lowest and Italy along side 2 other tracks being within 1l of each other
Pretty sure when you look at the track information in game, The stated fuel consumption [average, high, very high etc] are actually incorrect anyway
e.g. Bahrain says fuel is very high when it actually uses less than Malaysia [which is only High], and Monaco shows average fuel [when its the lowest per lap and also total for the race] and just need to be updated
Although I dont know the weight/fuel ratio it probably true that a lot of the tracks could be "tweaked" to have more accurate fuel consumption etc, looks like IMO it is linked to both the track length and the average speed [although i stand to be corrected] Making Monza because it is the fastest "average speed" track use higher fuel
Definitely something that should be looked at when tracks are updated/added. Whether its a simple fix or not I couldnt answer

Oh that might be true, but the game does state that its 4.5L/lap, but yeah it might be an overall problem, I just noticed it because I remembered to have heard that Monza was actually the track where the engines were allowed to run most freely, due to long straights and low drag setups, and I saw the 4.5 L/lap figure, and it just looked wrong.
You are probably right that the fuel is calculated based on speed, vs lap length, but it can't be too hard to send Cosworth, Renault, whatever an email and ask for some fuel consumption figures on the tracks.
Its just those sort of details that, if correctly executed, makes the game feel a lot more refined.

Monza is bugged, this has been well known, it has very high tire degradation for a track that is suppose to be low or average. All tracks are getting redone, as specified by the mods before, they are creating a new track builder to make the tracks more realistic, and hopefully we will see Giles Circuit, Current Silverstone, French GP and so on.
