is there a reason why DRS is so powerful I had a 2 second gap wiped out within a lap today surely that's not possible
0.8 seconds of that was taken out on the first lap drs I was 2 seconds ahead going into the straight and because I was leading had no drs the other cars obviously did and practically wiped out half the lead surely this is to strong
Like it because it mixes things up, had a really good finish for second in my league because of this. Also, second place probably got drs from a lap down car.

P1 to P7 on drs straight (no kers) round hungry is an example DRS is way too powerful at most tracks excluding Brazil n Monaco
Haha thats a good point Jon. Some of the logic behind changing the power of drs needs a little rethinking!
I think if we decrease the power of drs, maybe it could be a good idea to introduce a second push level system which is more influential on overtakes. Potentially we could have a PL for tyres and a PL for the engine. The engine PL will replace what we lose with drs and make overtaking even more tactical and possible around the track.
I think some people underestimate to difficulty of passing in igp without drs especially when they lead races to often or get out in front too fast, without this compromise we'd see barely any passes per race and would lead to the game's functions and pathways to victory completely changing from what they are now.
But that's just my opinion, what do you guys think?
No it's because there was a train behind me who had Drs so lost 0.8 by the end of the Drs zone then by the time we come to the second Drs zone I was overtaken
