Prize Money

 Hi I’m wondering why teams don’t get prize money if the finish in the top 3? Also the champion driver should get money for his team. Let’s say 1st 8million 2nd 5million 3rd 2million? And the champion driver £5 million......just examples. Because teams are racing all season and don’t get anything at the end.There should be something.   I should of put this in suggestions sorry!

It's a good idea but it has been suggested many times before by many people and the reason given is by doing so top teams will only get more and more stronger season after season and lower teams who don't win will be losing out so to keep things fair and competitive all the winners get is stats stating they are winners and boasting rights. The way things work right now is all teams have per race race targets to hit if they do they get money if you don't then you simply don't. Strong teams have harder targets and weaker teams easier targets.
