95% of people will install this game, click here and there and uninstall it. That's a fact and it's OK. However, such inactive players stay in the leagues they entered to for seasons, making the game boring for other players and even further increasing game dropping rates. Of course, "established" players also leave, but I'm sure they are nothing compared to those who just try the game and drop it immediately.

I propose a solution: Newbie leagues. Here is an outline of proposed changes:

  • Newbie leagues are one-off short championships (5-10 races). They don't have tiers and are deleted from the server once they are finished.

  • Only complete newbies can join such leagues and cannot join normal leagues yet.

  • After a newbie finishes a newbie league, he doesn't have an active league and must actively join a normal one. This way, if he just abandons the game as most, he will not continue spoiling it for others.

  • Non-newbies cannot join newbie leagues.

There are some quirks, e.g. it's not obvious what to do with less-than-a-year of driver training etc. But I'm sure these a minor things and whatever workaround is taken, it will be much better than having the game flooded with inactive players.

It kinda works but you could not auto put them into correct time zone leagues meaning many will not get the full experience of watching races.

The best way to wean out join and leavers is drop tiers.

Keep leagues to a single league of 20 teams so 40 drivers in each max.

You can only join leagues at your level so even if rookies do join and leave it onky impacts that race or 2 or whatever the auto inactivity kicker is set too.
You still get ppl promoted through the tiers but having 10 teams leave due to inactivity wont stop ppl tiering up, currently if you remove inactivea you cam stop promotion, if you say top 3 go up no matter what then its not a problem

Having single leagues also means you will find leagues full of a live racing, much better than 1 tier active 2 not.

I like the general idea. However maybe don't make actual leagues but let have them do like 3-5 tutorial 'quick races', as usual one per day at most (Although I do hope those additional 'fun' quick races and leagues are not to far in the future as well). Those races run every hour, or maybe half hour if enough players join every day, so the new players can join right into a first taste of the action and the new players just select the one he wants to participate in every (playing) day. Those tutorial races count like league races in terms of money, XP and so, so the new players have progress, and costs, right off the start.

Yes that would be a good idea making new players do a short term startup league of max 5 races ,  gaining a racing license after that,  they would however have to do at least setup and strat to even get from race 1 to race 2  and so on   not doing a setup and strat would then make u redo that race. After 5 races u are allowed to join a real league.

Surely this would just leave established leagues not having teams populate them. I can't even get newbies into my league. I'd welcome inactive accounts at this point, lol. Just so my active teams can get promoted.
