Hi Michael, did your driver pit automatically on the first time, second time, or both times after the rain started?

When he pitted for the first time he did it automaticaly, but I changed the tires type from W to I, then the next lap he pitted automatically again and changed it to W.

I had this happen to me once and it was because I had it set to come into the pits if it rains for wets at I think 3mm from memory. It started raining and of course sent me into the pits and I did like you did and put inters on instead. But because the rain had not reached the 3mm and I was on inters the auto pit came back on as it saw I was on inters and not wets so it wanted to pit me. I just hit cancelled pit stop. I think I had to do that for about 3 laps in a row but then it stopped wanting to pit me to place wets on.
If I know Iam going to be a race live now I set it to 5mm max and inters. So I get to control it  not the AI. Same with if it stops raining I have that set to 50 laps so I get to control it and decide when I want to come into the pits.
I have not had the problem since.

Okay, that sounds pretty similar to the bug I got. Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna take it into account. But I still hope devs are gonna change the mechanism of that automatic rain pit-stop somehow so it won't lead to occasions like mine one.

I also use the 5mm/50laps settings which about got rid of the weather auto pits. However you're not entirely safe from those advanced settings. Last race after rain started I had to select pit manually, as intended, but 2 or 3 times during that lap I had to switch my selection back to wets because the game kept switching them (back) to the inters from advanced settings. At least finally my selection stuck before the pit stop happened, two other managers had less luck there though.

That's what I'm talking about. Depending on luck and good internet connection that would allow you to switch it back to wets or cancel the pit-stop several times is not something you expect while running the rainy race :\
