Yes, this is another case of 'who got it first' not working. I'm not sure but so far it looks like it's more a case of 'who was ahead before the teams scored equal'. So maybe it just looked like 'who scored it first' is the answer because in the case of 0 points obviously the team who scored that best result first was ahead until the next matched it and it needed equal teams with points to show that explanation is not spot on.
