hello,
i am new at this and i have problem in top speed, in races i have aboat 10 kmh lover speed then the others. how to improve , what is the component in design to improve speed.
First: Who cares? You often find fastest cars down the list after the race.
Second: What about lowering the wings?
Third: Do not go for top speeds, when your drivers aren't able to deal with a low-downforce car. It might go wrong in terms of a good result...
Addition: You will recognize your drivers asking for less wing every year.
Keeping that in mind, a valid assumption would be, that the fastest cars are those with the most skilled drivers asking for the least downforce.
Naturally those drivers do have a good chance of ending in front, as they are....more skilled.
Really...don't even look at the top-speeds. They are of no interest in terms of gaining points.
At least because you can compare them only, when the race is already over... ;-)
Example of Monza, the fastest track, where speed is everything....wait...is it?

Will mostly come down to driver/setup/car %, although could be down to engine supplier.. As above says though having the highest speed car will in no way guarantee winning and normally you will be sacrificing cornering/acceleration
