ok so i need to pit on the last lap, my fault.....

But it already automatically flagged up in green "PITTING" with previous fuel load and tyre choice.

I changed the fuel load to 5litres to cover the last lap and changed the tyres to Soft.... thinking GREAT

But they filled up the car and kept the choice as hard tyres!!

Im guessing its cos i didnt cancel the auto PITTING and re pressed the "PIT" button after i changed everything.....

I dont think you should have to do that, its VERY annoying!!

Cheers!

I was worried about this problem also because I had read on here about it happening. When I had to change strategy I made sure I did it before it popped up that I was planning to pit and it did what I directed.

Also, for the developers, it would be awesome if it showed the amount of fuel put in (on the live timing + controls screen), but only for your drivers. Just to ensure that everything went as planned.

You need to adjust the fuel/tire loads ahead of time, not in the final half of a driver's in lap, otherwise it won't save.

Whats Formula One about that?? Last minute changes to the plan always happen :D
ie quickly calculate fuel/tyres then whip him in for a pit, when it works it really makes you feel good :D

You've just answered your own problem.

Quickly calculate fuel/tyres instead of leaving it too late.

Giles, sorry about this.  Was it raining when this happened to you?  As far as I am aware currently this problem only appears if the weather strategy has kicked in.  Other than that late adjustments to the strategy should take effect, even up until a few seconds before your car reaches the garage.  But did you experience the problem when it was dry?  Thanks.
