This may seem like a stupid question but what happens to your drivers when their contract reaches 0 races.

I would like to know for future reference but always like to keep my contracts renewed.

If contract reaches 0 they leave your team. And you will be assigned with a 0 star basic driver. So if you have a good driver you must renew contract before it gets to 0.
