I've watched every race this year and I'm happy to see I have had absolutely no clue as to who is going to win each race. As for the championship............ well you get the point. I have though identified several points of discussion from the first seven races
1) WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO JENSON BUTTON
2) When will Romain Grojean win a race
3) 2 podiums for SAUBER!
Please comment and tell us what you think. And I've tipped Alonso for the championship. Do you agree or who are you going for?

Alonso is a solid bet for the title, he seems to be the most consistent performer.
Massa seems on the verge of recapturing his old form, bar a few mistakes (like the spin in Canada). For the rest of the race he was running pretty similar times to Alonso, if you factor in the tyre age etc. I'll be interested to see if he can maintain that because I don't like seeing him doing so badly after coming so close to the title in 08.

Too many variables to suggest a champion.

It's definitely too early to predict who will be Champion, but with Hamilton and Alonso being the only drivers to score points in every race, it's very hard to suggest that they won't be in with a shout. Jenson obviously needs to re-discover his '10-'11 form (and his '12 Aussie), which if he can, he'll be up there as well. Then there are the Red Bull drivers as well, who will no doubt have a solid car beneath them.
And then you have Lotus and Mercedes. Personally, I don't think Mercedes are capable of capturing either title, but if Lotus can get the potential out of the car that I believe is there, then they will be serious contenders as well. Providing that Grosjean can be more consistent in races, and Raikkonen improve his qualifying form.

I think there's no seeing passed Alonso, who's one of the most naturally gifted drivers to ever grace the sport.

Jenson's form is fine, he's having issues with the car. It's front tires are degrading really quick and there is alot of understeer.

There's been talk that the guys at McLaren have been looking into a way of setting up the car differently for Jenson, and they might have found a way to improve the car in terms of working with the tyres and just generally better for him. If this is the case, then it's great news, especially going to a track as hot as Valencia. Here's hoping they're right! Although the proof will be in the pudding.
