Can i just check something.
If my manager level matches or is above a drivers i should be able to buy him right?
Does it matter what level i am?
Say im a rookie, can i buy talent 20 drivers, someone in a league has done just this and dominates rookie with setting strategies or training the drivers.
If this is possible it needs attention.

Let’s say the driver is level 6 and talent 20, and the manager is level 6; the manager can buy the driver.

Very often (but not always) these managers also have a L18-L20 primary account. He/She can use the primary account Youth Academy to scout Talent 20 drivers who are low level because all the other attributes are low, then sell the driver to their secondary low level account.
If you have such a manager in Rookie, chances are they've played the game for a long time and therefore know what they're doing. It follows that almost regardless of driver they're likely to dominate.

So yet another mockery, no wonder rookies dont play this game, why would you play when someone 2nd account can just be given talent 20 drivers.
Needs changing somehow to stop ppl having a big advantage without really playing the game how its meant to be played.

Over time I have helped a number of low level rookie and pro managers in our league by selling them high talent low level drivers from my YA. But without the experience elsewhere (design, race management, research etc.) they will still most likely be beaten by experienced managers even if you placed a "Tier limit" on driver talent.

Not if a player plays the way its meant to be, buying drivers from the market means you will never get a talent 20 driver when your a low level.
Giving ppl a fast track just means they dnt get the full experience of the game.
Seeing how in the rookie tier talent 20 drivers blow away others easy just ruins it.
Why bother having a driver market when ppl get better drivers from others.
By allowing this they make much of the game pointless.

I enjoyed working my up through rookie and pro and had battles against second teams and talent 20 drivers...that for me was jyst how it was and when you reach the elite league you might do the same....If you post in marketplace there's generally help there for what you need....
I do get where you are coming from but pretty much all of us had the issue....more satisfying when you make it though :)

Its not for me, i have talent 20 drivers and am in elite, im thinking more about why new pkayers are not joining the game like they used too.
They come, they race twice and see they have no chance so dnt cone back.
I thought having the tiers was to kinda keep things equal and fair, yet if ppl can just buy tge best tiers are pointless.
It needs looking at i think, give managers a limit on drivers and staff they can get or scrap tiers

sorry didnt really look into where you were at last night was getting tired lol....yes It most likely does put people off....I like the suggestion of capping at certain levels/tiers but not sure how that could be implemented for this as even lower teams in F1 get talent 20 drivers :P

They do yes but they are racing everyone, they are not put into tiers.
