Engine purchase bug

Hi :) I was looking for an open thread to post in but instead I found 2 other threads with the same problem but closed so posting a new one now. Earlier today I chose to purchase 20 engines for 16 tokens but got parts instead of engines. It's evident there is an issue purchasing engines (this is on mobile app btw I am not sure if it happens on pc) coz going through the threads now I saw two other guys post within the last 5 days about the same issue. I am 100% sure I chose engines and not parts coz I can easily cover up parts with the 10 free a day for watching video ads. Would it be possible for Devs to please take away the 20 parts and replace them with the 20 engines I wanted to spend my tokens on? You should try testing it out maybe it's an issue with mobile app layout or something like that.

 On a seperate note...I don't post much so I would like to take this chance to thank you awesome people that run the game and the forums :) im enjoying the new tyre update it's certainty livened things up sort of like refreshed it a little which is always good. This game is great coz of everyone involved and it's a game I keep playing everyday so thank you for your efforts :)

Anything you can do?

If it happens so often, maybe the buttons/icons/flow/procedures are not designed with human interaction in mind. 

If I remember correctly: if I am prompted to buy a engine, I click the button, I immediately enter the parts screen instead of the engine screen, so I can buy parts instead of engines, to change this I have to go to the tab engines. It is not loggical and a mistake is made quickly.

Aw Gert it does suck that i have to lose out on tokens PLUS get stuck with extra parts i dont need...especially considering im not the only one having this problem on mobile.
but i'll leave it at that and try to be careful next time
Actually next time i will screen record and try to have unquestionable proof that the mistake is not mine.

I can back up what has been said here. This was brought up yesterday in our league chat so I decided to purchase a single engine for 3 tokens on the mobile app just to see what happens. The tokens were taken from me but I did not receive the engine.
